Download the best Internet Safety educational resources from the Insafe network (and beyond)
[UPDATED 26 January 2010] In order to address the challenges of today's Information and Knowledge Society, children need to be prepared from their youngest age to become e-citizens. More than ever parents and teachers consequently want to know where they can go to obtain valuable insight and information on online safety issues and improve their skills.
As a result of a vast investigation of the educational material landscape, a collection of Insafe Network Educational Resources are now online (zip file 117MB-updated 26 January 2010). See below for list of content.
These resources will allow teachers and parents to easily identify educational material that will suit their needs, to discover activities and programmes from all over Europe (and beyond) and to find new ideas for teaching online safety.
More than a tool for teachers and parents, this fair also intends to speed up the validation process of these resources by offering them visibility and emphasizing their great usefulness. Hopefully it will be a first step towards the progressive integration of online safety in the curriculum.
This zip file contains a wide range of resources which have been provided by all members of the Insafe network and some from 3 of our partner organisations. The resources will help to support teachers as they deliver online safety messages to children and young people across Europe and beyond.
