Insafe Newsletter

Issue 6: July/August 2005

EditorialNewsEventsCountry Focus About Insafe

Editorial
Welcome to the July/August edition of the Insafe Newsletter

This issue of the newsletter focuses on empowerment and features contributions from eight different countries across three continents.

i-SAFE is a non-profit Internet safety foundation, aiming to bring Internet safety education and awareness to young people in the United States.

While we all hold specific national citizenships, the Internet has made us world citizens with common experiences. i-SAFE is now also working with international partners to share our program and our experience developing curricula and training educators.

i-SAFE has programs for students, educators, parents, law enforcement, and community leaders. The best way for a student to take a concept and make it their own is with the support of their community.

i-SAFE is dedicated to educating and empowering the youth of America to safely and responsibly take control of their online experiences. In our Youth Empowerment program, Student Mentors take the message of Internet safety to their peers, their family, and their community.
