Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online

18-19 September 2008 in Warsaw

The 2nd International Conference “Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online” has been organised by the Polish and German Internet safety nodes and will be held on 18-19 September 2008 in Warsaw.

The main partner of the event is the TP Group Foundation.

The Warsaw conference will bring together representatives from the education, NGOs, law enforcement, government and industry sectors. It will address a wide variety of issues relating to children and young people’s safety online, such as cyberbullying, social networking sites, child safety and mobile phones, and online gaming. The aims of the conference are to raise awareness of the new challenges and opportunities in fighting internet threats and to help share best practices across different sectors. Sessions will be led by recognised international experts in the field of child protection.
