Naked for all to see ... online?

Save the Children Italy has made available a short animated cartoon featuring a girl who reveals all - for all to see. The 30' cartoon aims to stress the active role of children in Social Networks based on their real online behaviour and on how they handle their pictures and their personal data on SNS.

Maria Elisa Marzotti of Save the Children Italy adds: "Taking "nakedness" as a metaphor for this girl's uncritical online behaviour, we would like to stress the active role of children in social networks which is mostly driven by their emotional involvement. The cartoon aims to provoke the viewers in order to solicit a careful consideration of the real consequences of their online behaviour."

Targeted directly at the young, this short film with a good dose of humour, makes its point very forcefully.
