eLearning Awards to include
e-safety and media awareness

For the eighth consecutive year, European Schoolnet is launching the eLearning Awards, Europe's prime competition which recognises excellence and best use of technology in education. Schools and teacher training institutions are invited to take part and present to an international audience their best projects which use ICT in teaching and learning.

This year, the awards will have six categories covering different areas of teaching such as school development, e-safety issues and institutional aspects as well as pedagogical issues. Particular emphasis will be given to schools active in increasing creative approaches to teaching and learning as well as increasing the motivation of learners in the different subject areas.
