New Internet safety CD and Web Interactive launched for parents15 July 2005
Australia’s Internet safety advisory body, NetAlert, has recently released a new CD-ROM to provide parents with practical advice and solutions on keeping their children safe on the Internet. |
The CD-ROM, ‘NetAlert Parent’s Internet Safety Toolkit’ is easy to use and plays video of parents discussing their problems and solutions. The numerous resources included on the CD-ROM (such as a Jargon Buster and Fact Sheets) make it an enormously useful and practical tool for parents to use.
There has also been an online version of the popular CD-ROM created. It contains all the features of the CD-ROM version, but has been optimised for the web.
People from around the world will be able to gain valuable advice on Internet safety from the parents featured in the toolkit as they talk about such things as content, contact, security, commercialism and new mobile technologies.
