Safer Internet Day 2007 More than 140 organisations in 43 countries around the world took part in a global Blogathon to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2007 on Tuesday 6th February. For the fourth annual celebrations of this event, schools in Ireland have been working with partner schools in Portugal, Estonia, and Denmark as part of a competition that combines the educational use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with raising awareness of the risks of using the internet and mobile phones.
De La Salle College, Dundalk, Scoil na mBuachaillí, Clonakilty, and Bayside Junior School, Sutton are amongst those who
posted their projects on the Safer Internet Blogathon as part of the competition.
