Danish theme-magazine on internet safety

As part of the national Safer Internet Day campaign 2007, the Danish Media Council for Children and Young People cooperated with the staff of the Danish teachers’ magazine called Skolen” in creating a theme-issue with a special focus on internet safety.
The magazine was published on SID 2007 and distributed to schools all over Denmark. The special issue consisted of articles on many different aspects of children’s use of new media – covering both potentials and risks.

The articles were primarily written by members of the Danish awareness node’s stakeholder group, and were published under a Creative Commons licence.

All articles from the magazine were placed in a special SID07 section of the Media Council website which was also launched on 6 February. Furthermore, a link to an online-edition of the magazine was placed on the website.
