Story-telling competition award ceremony in Iceland

The Story-telling competion award ceremony was held at the Reykjavik Public Library in Iceland yesterday. The awards were presented by the president of Iceland, Mr. Ólafur Ragnar Grimsson.
Three winners were announced in each age-category, 9-12 years old and 13-16 years old.  One school, Heidarskoli in Reykjanesbaer was presented with an award for its contribution to the competition, 11 stories from one class in 4th, grade.

The overall winner who will be attending the grand finale of the story telling competition in Paris in December is Ingibjorg Olof Benediktsdottir, 14 years old, who lives in Borgarfjordur in Iceland.
